Narrative
Charles' career has focused primarily on real estate development, including office and retail development, affordable housing, tax credits, industrial revenue bonds, commercial lending, subsidized revolving loan programs and SBA loans. Clients include real estate developers, banks, commercial lenders, economic development agencies and non-profit organizations. His experience also includes having been general counsel, corporate secretary, development director, law firm principal, economic developer, management information systems consultant, database analyst, demographer/statistician, urban planner, political activist, college professor and director of college urban studies programs. Charles has served on boards of directors and as advisor/consultant to economic development agencies, local governments, community organizations and political campaigns.
