The firm represents individuals, businesses and insurers regarding both coverage issues and liability claims. Two partners of the firm have a background in insurance law practice which enables them to advise clients in various contexts including first party insurance claims, business coverage issues and personal injury claims. The Litigation Sections of the firm are frequently involved in advising clients on complex coverage issues, and, if appropriate, initiating declaratory judgment actions to obtain a ruling by the court on insurance coverage. Our attorneys are also involved in litigating liability claims on behalf of insurers and other businesses, including self-insured clients. We believe that our experience in insurance law is often pivotal in properly evaluating issues presented by firm clients.
